九十年代的上海處處是機會與希望。青年阿寶（胡歌 飾）憑藉改革開放的春風和自己的打拼躋身成為商界後起之秀，黃河路上無人不曉。平凡阿寶蛻變成寶總，離不開高人爺爺與夜東京老闆玲子（馬伊琍 飾）、外貿大樓汪小姐（唐嫣 飾）的鼎力協助。隨著神秘女子李李（辛芷蕾飾）空降黃河路，一家時髦飯店即將攪動整條街，也令寶總原本決勝千里的事業變得動盪驚心，他與身邊人的關係也經受著前所未有的考驗。同時，深圳股市的過江龍強總（黃覺 飾）也隨時會給阿寶致命一擊。阿寶唯有向前，以赤子心翻越高山，方可奔赴繁花滿眼。
