¿De qué trata Pon no Michi?
El anime está ambientado en la ciudad de Onomichi en la prefectura de Hiroshima, donde una estudiante de secundaria, Nashiko Jippensha, fue expulsada de su casa. Sin un lugar para jugar con sus amigos, se entera de que la sala de mahjong que solía dirigir su padre ahora está vacía. Ella arregla la sala de mahjong y la convierte en un lugar donde ella y sus amigos pueden divertirse, cocinar, tomar té y, a veces, jugar mahjong.

Nashiko feels a bit lonely and sad about this situation. The other four feel the same way, but they are unable to change the situation and time just passes by...
